Immediate opening: foundry worker (Uttar Pradesh)

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Rotating shifts.
