Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Pherzawl, Manipur. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose 2+ years on the tools preferred.
