Metal caster wanted in Ahmadabad

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Ahmadabad, State of Gujarat. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. ₹34,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
