Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Phek, State of Nagaland. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideally you have physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts. Day to day you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
