TIG welder wanted in Thiruvallur

Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Thiruvallur, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 6+ years on the tools preferred.
