Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Kishtwar, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
