On a typical shift you will reroute around roadworks and diversions while keeping to time; report mechanical faults and dents to the depot office; make sure everyone is seated and belted before moving off; check engine oil, coolant and washer fluid levels before each shift; maintain an accurate headcount against the passenger manifest; follow fixed pick-up and drop-off routes to a set timetable.
