Now hiring: we are hiring a marble fixer in Salem, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is in a stone processing yard. Day-to-day duties: • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin Requirements: • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Own hand tools an advantage • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades 5+ years on the tools preferred.
