Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Mysore, State of Karnataka. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. Day to day you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter. You should bring available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns; own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold; comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
