Great opportunity: foundry worker (State of Nagaland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Noklak, State of Nagaland. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Part-time with flexible hours.
