We are recruiting: steel fixer (Assam)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Nalbari, Assam. On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. You should bring sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing; physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
