You should bring 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery; basic record-keeping and part-counting skills. The role involves: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station Rotating shifts.
