Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Gurdaspur, State of Punjab. The role involves: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Ideally you have good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones; sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing; own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat.
