Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Dima Hasao District, Assam. On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
