Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Sarangarh Bilaigarh, State of Chhattisgarh. You will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Rotating shifts.
