Laundry presser wanted in Udupi

Join our team: we are hiring a laundry presser in Udupi, State of Karnataka. Ideally you have physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work; sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings; able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets. Your main tasks: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
