Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in West Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Ideally you have confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges; experience with carbide tooling and insert selection. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
