Trowel-trade bricklayer • Chengalpattu district, State of Tamil Nadu

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Chengalpattu district, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based on a busy housing site. Your main tasks: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 5+ years on the tools preferred.
