Immediate opening: we are hiring a site labourer in Jalandhar, State of Punjab. You will work on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₹32,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
