Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Purba Singhbhum, State of Jharkhand. The job is at a busy bakery. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • 2+ years' experience as a baker Day-to-day duties: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand Six days a week, one day off. ₹31,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
