Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
