You will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
