Occupational health and safety officer • Gomati, Tripura

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Gomati, Tripura. On the job you will handle: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
