Urgent requirement: occupational health and safety officer (State of Tamil Nadu)

Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Erode, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is in a chemical processing unit. You will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
