You should bring comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces; sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection. The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Rotating shifts.
