Container truck driver wanted in Mahe

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Mahe, Union Territory of Puducherry. The job is at a container freight yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
