Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Pathankot, State of Punjab. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
