Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Kalimpong, West Bengal. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. PF/ESI and paid leave as per norms. Pay around ₹26,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
