We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofing labourer in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The job is at a busy roofing firm. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Your main tasks: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets 3+ years on the tools preferred.
