Vacancy available: we are hiring an estate gardener in Valsad, State of Gujarat. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather On a typical shift you will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers.
