Vacancy available: fabricator-welder (Assam)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in South Salmara Mancachar, Assam. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. We are looking for valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage); own basic hand tools and PPE. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
