Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Khawzawl, Mizoram. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Your main tasks: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Ideally you have knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout; can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
