Foundry worker — Puri

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Puri, State of Odisha. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding The role involves shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
