Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideally you have confident with standard crane hand signals; comfortable working at height and in confined spaces; valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket.
