Banksman — Charaideo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Charaideo, Assam. The job is at a container port. Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
