We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Sheohar, State of Bihar. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. You should bring comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces; valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
