Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in Pherzawl, Manipur. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
