On a typical shift you will spot-clean walls, skirting, doors and high-touch points; deep-clean rooms on checkout and prep them for the next guest; restock the housekeeping trolley with linen, cloths and chemicals; follow the colour-coded cloth system to avoid cross-contamination; report maintenance faults — leaking taps, blown bulbs, faulty AC — to engineering; log lost-and-found items and hand them to the supervisor. You should bring basic English/Hindi to read room status and checklists; 1-2 years experience in hotel housekeeping; clear police verification / background check. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
