Meat trimmer wanted in Villupuram

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Villupuram, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
