Day to day you will load and index turning tools in the turret; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; write and edit G-code programs at the control; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54).
