Ideally you have willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather; physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles. On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
