Bricklayer — Rudraprayag

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Rudraprayag, State of Uttarakhand. You will be based on a busy housing site. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On the job you will handle: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Part-time with flexible hours.
