Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Willing to travel between sites • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles The role involves: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters Part-time with flexible hours.
