Quality assurance assistant — West Khasi Hills

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. You will work at a food processing unit. Your main tasks: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items We are looking for ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade; confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges; understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
