Vacancy available: mason's helper (State of Nagaland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mason's helper in Longleng, State of Nagaland. You will be based on a commercial building project. Your main tasks: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
