Ideally you have understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing; attention to detail for date codes and labelling. On a typical shift you will strap and band pallets ready for loading; shrink-wrap trays and stretch-wrap finished pallets; record production counts on the shift sheet; feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams; operate the filling and sealing machine on the line; check best-before and expiry dates on every box.
