Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Medchal Malkajgiri, State of Telangana. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. We are looking for physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings; comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal; basic grinding and fettling skills. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
