Great opportunity: flatlock machine operator (State of Punjab)

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Kapurthala, State of Punjab. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. We are looking for understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens; comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line. Your main tasks: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
