Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Mokokchung, State of Nagaland. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line We offer ₹39,000 per month plus benefits.
