Urgent requirement: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Chandigarh, Union Territory of Chandigarh. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
